The Annual European Alumni Event – Amsterdam |
Harvard Law School Association of Europe
Dear fellow Alumnae and Alumni:
It is our great pleasure and honor to invite all of you to the 2013 meeting of our
Association. AMSTERDAM 2013 promises to be another memorable event for
all alumni, old and young, from the East, West, North and South!
As usual, you can enjoy a diverse program with many academic, cultural and
social highlights, including a visit to the Peace Palace in The Hague, where we
will be received by members of the International Court of Justice.
A special spouses program is on offer for Saturday: A private fashion show by
the famous Dutch couturier Mart Visser, made possible by Willem Stevens,
LL.M. ’63, our main organizer of the Amsterdam event.
The good news in a nutshell: Amsterdam has special offerings this spring,
including several recently reopened world-class museums. And the whole city
will be in a festive mood as Prince Willem-Alexander and his Argentinean wife,
Maxima, will be crowned to King and Queen of the Netherlands on April 30 in
Amsterdam.
The bad news: We are not the only ones to have noticed it.
So: Don't tarry, book early! We cannot keep hotel reservations open for long.
Ascension weekend will be busy and we have secured good offers at very
popular hotels: The convenient Park Hotel, where our Headquarters will be
located, the romantic boutique College Hotel, and the great value Wyndham
Apollo Hotel Amsterdam.
Please register early also for the program to facilitate the organization. And
last but not least, let us know what venue you would like to propose for 2014!
(check the item on page 2 of the registration form)
Young alumni/ae take note! Your larger than usual turn-out last year made us
devise even more attractive pricing by introducing reduced rates for all events.
If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact me or any of the officers.
See you in Amsterdam!

Felix Dasser, LL.M. ’90
President of the HLSA of Europe
