Life After Law: Finding Work You Love with the JD You Have
  Liz Brown '96
HLS Women's Alliance of Boston

On Thursday, October 3rd at 6:30 p.m. at Harvard Law School in Wasserstein Rm 1019, Liz Brown (HLS '96) will discuss her new book on alternative careers for lawyers, Life After Law: Finding Work You Love with the JD You Have (Bibliomotion, September 2013).

Life After Law examines the transitions of thirty lawyers, from recent graduates to senior practitioners, into a wide range of non-law careers that they found much more rewarding.  It also offers specific, realistic advice for every lawyer and law student who wonders what else they could do with their JD beyond practicing law.  In this highly interactive talk, Liz will discuss the best ways to identify and succeed in a non-legal career no matter how long you have been in (or out of) law.  Even if you're just thinking about a career change, you won't want to miss this event.

This event is co-sponsored by the Harvard Law School Women's Law Association and the Harvard Law School Office of Career Services.

If you plan to attend, please RSVP to hlswaboston@gmail.com so that we can make sure there is sufficient space as students will also be attending.
